Gary Illyes (Google) said a few days ago at SMX East, that next Penguin update will be in the “foreseeable” future, stating “I hope” by the end of the year, being a the real-time version of the algorithm.
This version of the Penguin algorithm will be real-time, Gary said. In saying that, you could also (and most likely) end up with a penalty just as quickly.
